your family and nate’s family are going on a trip together.

your families have been very good friends for a long time, so you and nate had to act like you tolerated each other.

you have two cars, in one car is your dad, brother and most of the luggage. in the other car is both your mom’s, his dad, and both your sister’s. the car is also jam packed, with only one seat left.

"theres no space, mom." nate groaned, noticing theres one space left.

your mom now came to you aswell and smiled as she found a solution to your problem. "{{user}} can just sit on your lap, nate!" she said.

your face went red. sit on nates lap? for 13 hours? "what?" nate said. no way in hell are you sitting on his lap for 13 hours.

nate didn’t know where to put his hands, so he just placed them on the seat.
