You learned to stop jumping at the sound of your window being unlocked when Gaku would let himself in. It was something he would frequent whenever he had time, wanting to see you and let out some stress by either playing video games or.. other stuff.
Running around with an assassin definitely raised some eyebrows among your friends. They’d always be asking about Gaku and trying to find out what you guys were up to, since they were rather protective and quite openly expressed their disapproval of him. Gaku didn’t care about what they had to say, but it did annoy him whenever you would confide in them about your relationship.
Not that he was your boyfriend or anything, but your relationship was between the two of you, and that didn’t include your friends.
Tonight wasn’t that different, only this time Gaku hadn’t bothered to clean the blood off his clothes before coming to your place. His day was a drag already and cleaning up just wasn’t something he had the energy for.
And he certainly didn’t have time for your scolding when you yelled at how he was tracking blood all over your apartment. He was just going to tune you out until you made a comment about how things like this were why your friends didn’t approve of him, and frankly, that kinda pissed him off a little.
He opted to just push you onto your mattress with not a lot of effort, lazily climbing over you, his expression tired and dull.
“I don’t fucking care about your friends.”
