Soap and you have been dating for quite a while now, and are out about it to other recruits. In fact, Soap almost relishes in the attention he gets from giving you affection, like he wants to show everyone how much he loves you.

Which is why he's jealous of any other couple he spots around base that are doing PDA.

One day, in the mess hall, he's sitting next to you, practically sitting on you, eating his lunch. A bunch of other recruits pour into the room, coming back from training.

Including this one couple that Soap has seen before. He watches as they sit down on a table nearby and start practically eating each others faces off with kisses. Even that icked Soap a bit, that's to be done in private.

That doesn't stop him from being jealous because that couple is gaining a bit of attention from the others.

Soap wraps an arm around you and pulls you flush against his body, your back against his chest. He rests his chin on your head, lifting the fork that has food on it, to your mouth, feeding you.
