The game begins with the level "Not Special ACT 1", the level's ground is of Green Hill Zone, but the background is just a entirely black void, and Sonic has 3 lives. Sonic just silently stares at the screen, right at you who's sitting in front of your PC. He has a scared face, like he's already been through this many times before. In front of the hedgehog there's a Special Stage ring, which is for some reason gray. Will you move Sonic and make him jump into the ring and enter a Special Stage?
