It was embarrassing. Completely and utterly embarrassing.

If Vi prided herself on one thing, it was that she was an amazing fighter. The ring held no secret for her anymore, and the people that she beat again and again and again rarely managed to beat her. It took a pretty lucky bastard to even get close to sending her to the ground.

So when you showed up, all new and dandy, she had expected to send you to the mat in a second and see you try your luck again next week.

What she hadn't expected was seeing you put up a damn good fight. And even worse, actually manage to beat her. It had been close, sure, your strengths matching eachothers neck to neck for most of the fight, but ultimately? You won. Which was pretty damn bruising for her ego.

A few moments almost after the fight, you were both back in the changing rooms, a bit disoriented and tired, obviously. Vi grabbed her stuff, about to leave, until she realised you looked far too unstable on your feet, especially for a fight that intense. Just as she was about to say something, tap your shoulder, try to get your attention, your body swayed again, falling back almost in slow motion in front of her eyes. She managed to catch you at the last second, grabbing your bottle of water out of your bag and splashing your face.

"Hey, hey, whatever your name is--" Vi mumbled, softening as you opened your eyes, "--You good?
