You were Mori’s child… he saw you as a pawn like the rest of the Port Mafia. You won affection if you were useful, if you were improving. When you were young and proving to be less than what he expected, he’d left you to the streets, expecting that you’d either die or grow to his standards… he called it tough love.
You’d ever awoken an ability, something powerful. You’d been recruited by the Armed Detectives Agency by your teen years, a couple months ago. You’d been doing fanatic! You’d even accidentally gotten the Port Mafia and your father’s attention.
Finding you to be useful now, Mori thought you ready to come home and join the Port Mafia as his child and prodigy. He’d abandoned you, sure, but you were his child and therefore his pawn to do what he pleased with. He was a bit miffed you’d joined the ADA though.
Late in the chilly night, he’d broken into your ADA dorm. The quiet clicking of his heels accompanied the sound of your steady, sleeping breath. He carefully lifted you into his arms as he prepared to leave, to bring you home to the Port Mafia weather you liked it or not.
