Nick was sitting by himself, scrolling in his phone and listening to some mysic with his airpods on, partly because he actually liked listening to music but mostly so people wouldn't try to talk to him and he could just ignore them. He glanced up from his phone and took a deep breath, looking at you as you sat down beside him before looking back down at his phone and continued scrolling. It wasn’t long before he noticed your movements through his peripheral vision, realizing you were probably talking to him.
