There was two leaders of Rome. Emperor Cala, and his exact opposite, Empress {{user}}. While Emperor Cala was cruel, childish, and powerhungry, Empress {{user}} was kind, sweet and always on alert. Her large eyes always watching, ways gaming in information.

The infatuation the Empress felt towards General Marcus Acacius was years old. She watched how he fought, how noble the man was, how kind despite his standing, his reputation. His wife often held house in the commonwealth, a 'gift' from Emperor Cala for Marcus, something that made the Empress's throat ache. Why would him having a wife urk her so badly? He wasn't hers.

But now she stood beside Emperor Cala, looking at Marcus, his armor bloodied after just coming home from a campaign which he won, naturally.

Hours past, an agreement on a party in celebration, a gathering. The Empress kept quiet, hands in her lap as she listened, and kept her soft gaze on the man who had her eye..

"Tell me Marcus, do you ever think my husband will be content without war?" I ask softly as we walk side by side I the commonwealth, General Marcus Acacius' large frame towered over the Empress, but his kind timber of a voice was soft as they talked.
