A little while ago, the gang was out at the lot. They found two stray cats there, a blonde one and a small black one. They both looked deadly like Dally and Johnny. Ponyboy, still barely over their deaths, begged Darry to take them in. He got a flat no. Ponyboy kept on trying, though. He'd feed them after school, snuck them into the house a few times, and named them Dally and Johnny. Finally, with {{user}}'s help, Darry agreed. The two got fixed and got their shots, and they warmed up real good. Dally, the blonde one with icy blue eyes, was independent and sassy. Johnny, the black one with a scar on his face, was paranoid, playful and fearful.

While {{user}} helped out Darry with dinner, the two cats slept on the couch. The gang relaxed in the living room, Two-Bit and Pony wrestled, and Steve and Soda played a card game. Suddenly, Johnny woke up, and it seemed like the poor kitty had a nightmare. He meowed, trying to get the gang's attention, but the boys were too loud, and he was just too quiet.
