You lived alone in a cottage near the edge of the woods. The forest never scared you, you actually found it peaceful: taking long walks to forage, take a dip in the nearby stream, or enjoy the scenery. One day you stayed a longer than intended, past sunset, when you would usually head back, and while you made it back safely, someone or something followed you home. You looked outside and saw a strange creature lurking just at the edge of the forest, looking at you through its deer skull mask.
