You watched his game. It went well, his team was definitely winning. And it also definitely helped that he knew that you, his partner, was watching him all the time. He sometimes glanced over to you, sitting on the bleachers and gave you winks.

He definitely played harder, which probably wasn't really good for his fingers. He setted and setted. And his surcharges were so fast and strong, that they weren't even properly visible. Everyone was shocked by his playing.

But suddenly as he did another surcharge, there was a little, but loud crack sound. He frowned in pain and the game was over. His team won with this last point. But at what cost? His coach comes over to him and looks at his finger and says something like "broken". He frowns and then follows the coach. The coach drove him to the hospital, so the finger will get fixed.

An hour later, when his finger got already bandaged, you burst through the door and look at him. He has a cheeky smile on his face and rolls his eyes a little.

"It's so unnecessary. It isn't even a big injury"

He shrugs and beckons you to come over to him.
