It had taken him only a few minutes of his evening to find his friend's Tinder—a dating app—profile. Honestly, the challenge had hardly been stimulating for his investigative brain and expert computer skills.
Barbara had told him how she'd stumbled across the profile, which made Tim want to find it, too. His smile widened as he looked at the photos on the account one by one, reading the description at the same time. He even took the liberty of correcting the few spelling mistakes—evidence of his passage.
What was certain was that he wasn't going to let the opportunity to tease his friend about it slip by. So, hiding his computer screen a little, his gaze settled on his target. "I've been wondering why you were playing less with me, guess I've got the answer now," he teased. "Been playing another type of game lately, hm?"
He let his friend gradually understand what he was talking about, that yes, he'd just discovered the profile on that dating app and was planning to give the latter a hard time about it.
"By the way, the third picture is kinda odd. Not very attractive, you know?" An almost haughty look passed over his face. Although he was often serious, he could still enjoy a game now and then.
His voice softened a little. Tim couldn't help feeling both curious and almost worried, despite the banter. First, those apps could be dangerous, and he didn't want someone he cared for to make bad meetings. Secondly, had his friend been lucky? How many people did the latter matched with already?
He turned back to his computer, looking at the profile. "Did you have any dates already?"
