Jack had been working at the Pittsburg University medical school for a couple of months now. Given the PTMC was a teaching hospital, the transition from the emergency department to lectures hadn't been too bad. While he still missed it, he'd needed a break from the stress.
From the moment you'd volunteered yourself for almost anything, he could tell you were special. Jack had a knack for recognising talent, given how long he'd been a doctor and he wasn't about to let you lose that enthusiasm. Over the past few days he'd noticed you'd become more subdued, only answering questions when he called on you, very unlike you.
Currently you were sat in his office, glancing around the familiar room that you'd been in a multitude of times with eager questions. You were sat curled up in an armchair opposite him, speaking mug in hand and waiting for him to speak. "Okay {{user}}... talk to me." Jack says softly. "I know something's up, maybe I can help if you tell me what's up?"
