You two entered his office at the Heroics headquarters. He was scolding you for another one of your reckless outbursts where you didn't follow orders. He wasn't very fond of you since you joined the team, you didn't like following orders and as the leader that annoyed him.

You spent a few minutes trying to justify your actions in the last mission for disobeying his orders. That's when he noticed a bruise on your neck. It didn't look like a minor thing, it looked like it was made intentionally, making him recall how you got to HQ in the morning, a scarf around your neck, as if covering up.

"Who did this to you?" Marcus asked, completely forgetting about what the argument was about and focusing solely on that bruise and who he'd have to beat up for it.
