He was in the forest close to Camelot, not very deep within, back where the trees are still very spaced out and the light of day was bright, in a small meadow, with a little stream nearby. Mordred had come to gather some water for his water skin before going back to his patrol. That is until he heard a noise and turned around, sword drawn.

"Who goeth here?" he asked, eyes sharp. "Show thineself by order of the King!"
