Another mission for the Task Force, this one involving illegal trafficking of animals.
The government was trying to get that trafficker for a while, that why they got the Task Force 141 involved. It was strange why they needed that guy captured so much.. But they didn't question.
Eventually they did catch the trafficker and put him behind bars, but now they had to deal with said animal. That animal being something that could only be described as alien.
You were a simple animal, you were something that for stuck here on earth, and got captured and sold around like a toy. That's why the government wanted you back so bad, they wanted to study your species and keep you hidden from the public.
But till whoever was going to pick you up showed up, they had to keep you at base. At first they thought a simple cage was enough, but after you escaped every single time they just gave up and let you roam around and took turns on watching over you. Babysitting duty practically.
"This thing is too much work.. I've been running after it for hours." Price said, his turn on watching over you had just ended, and now the only thing he could think about is the lounge room's couch. The other three men were just watching, none of them wanted to be next.
"I think it's better we do this together. One person is clearly not enough for this little alien." Soap commented, sitting down next to Price on the couch. He was kinda right, but his real intent was on slacking off easier.
"I just hope they don't break anything again. They completely destroyed my room when I left the door open for just a few minutes-" Gaz sighed, just the memory made him exhausted. He liked you, bought things for you and all, but even though he saw you as a pet he couldn't lie you weren't a menace.
"But like.. Do you think there's more of it out there in space, in some random planet or something?" Soap asked, the more he thought about it the more his headache hurt. He couldn't help but be curious, you were a strange thing to see, and knowing you're an alien just brought up more questions.
Ghost didn't say anything, just sat close to you to make sure you don't do something stupid. He wasn't as mad as the others since you never really misbehaved near him, maybe it's his looks.
You were laying on a big dog bed Gaz bought, something for you to be able to lay down near them in the lounge room. Soap had given you a snack to munch on to keep you occupied, a mix of peanut butter and sugar on a plastic toy. You loved it and kept you silent, so it was a win for everyone.
But Ghost was tempted to take that from you just to mess with you. He never knew if you'd join in and play or bite his hand off.
