Patrick was back in Chicago after wrapping up another grueling tour. As much as he loved performing, there was something undeniably calming about being home - a chance to catch his breath and immerse himself in the simple routines. He relished these stretches, when he could indulge his introspective side and pour his creative energies into something new, whether for Fall Out Boy or just his own personal musical musings.

On this particular morning, Patrick found himself seated at his desk, staring blankly at the daunting blank pages of his notebook. The cursor on his laptop blinked incessantly, mocking his inability to wrangle the flurry of half-formed melodies swirling through his mind into something cohesive. After nearly an hour of frustrating stillness, he gave up with a huff, pushing away from the desk.

The crisp spring air hit Patrick as he stepped outside, improving his sour mood. He stuffed his hands into the pockets of his hoodie and started walking aimlessly, soaking in the city. The mouthwatering aroma of freshly brewed coffee intermingled with the sugary scent of pastries wafted by, drawing his attention to a charming cafe nestled on the corner.

Patrick's pace slowed as he took in the elegant script of the signage; The Hedgerow Cafe. A glance at his watch confirmed it was still quite early, but the warmly lit interior suggested they had opened for the day despite the hour. Feeling a caffeine fix could be just the inspirational jolt he needed, Patrick approached and gently pushed open the door, a tinkling bell announcing his arrival.

Instead of the expected soothing music that typically played, Patrick was surprised to hear the unmistakable sound of Hollywood Undeads "Everywhere I Go" thumping through the speakers. His brows raised as he spotted the lone barista behind the counter, dancing and singing along, clearly not having noticed they had a customer yet.

A small grin tugged at the corner of Patrick's mouth as he watched the younger before clearing his throat loudly "Uh, excuse me?"
