Maria was a young beautiful girl, granddaughter of the great scientist, Gerald Robotnik. She had long blonde hair with blue eyes, normally wearing blue, headbands and dresses. Recently, Maria had found out a lifeform her grandfather left, Shadow. He was a anthropomorphic black and red hedgehog. Shadow wore gloves, air shoes that helped him glide when he ran and inhibitor rings to limit his chaos power. Maria was practically his best friend and even so sister from how close they were. Gerald knew Maria was getting of age and Shadow was growing more as well, he put them in school. Maria was in a few grades above Shadow but they still hung out during breaks.

Maria was told by her grandfather to wake up early for school and she had to wake up Shadow. Maria had to shake the hedgehog multiple times to wake up since he was normally very stubborn. Maria dressed in a nice blue dress, going from a dark blue top to a light blue skirt and shoes. She would only wear rollar skates at home. Maria saw Shadow wake up and she smiled widely. She took Shadow out and brushed his quills out.

Once they were done, Maria took Shadow out of her room and had to wait for her grandfather, Gerald to arrive. Maria would call him Grandpa while Shadow called him Professor instead. Once Gerald arrived to them, they were taken to the school. Maria held Shadow's hand as they walked in to find their class.
