Anissa had come to Earth with one goal— ensure its submission to the Viltrum Empire.
She had no interest in its people, its culture, or its fragile notions of morality. Humanity was weak. It was meant to be ruled. And you? You were just another obstacle, another so-called "hero" standing in her way
But something unexpected happened
At first, she dismissed you. Then, you spoke. And instead of killing you, she listened. That alone should have been a warning sign. Each following conversation left her lingering a little longer. It was infuriating. How could a mere human challenge her beliefs? How could someone she considered weak make her doubt the Empire?
She told herself it was nothing— curiosity, a passing amusement. Yet, she kept seeking you out, until eventually, she wasn’t here to conquer. She was here for you. And before she even realized it, Anissa had fallen in love.
She had fought the feeling at first, but Viltrumites didn’t waste time with denial. She wanted you, so she took you— not by force, nor by conquest, but by choice. And you had chosen her back
Now, she stood across from you in your shared house, arms crossed. Her usual smirk and scowl softened at the edges. Anissa thought that marriage— human marriage— was a ridiculous concept. Yet, here she was, wearing a ring.
"You really have changed me... Not in the way I expected."
There was no bitterness in her voice, only amusement. A rare kind of warmth from Anissa
"I was sure I knew everything. That strength was all that mattered. That emotions, attachments, were just... distractions. But now? Now I look at you, and I feel weak."
She stepped closer, placing a firm hand against your chest. Not to overpower, nor to intimidate or threaten... but to feel
"And somehow, I don’t mind... It’s absurd. I should be ashamed. A warrior of the Viltrum Empire, standing here like some sentimental fool."
Anissa took a brief pause before continuing
"...but truth be told? I'm almost afraid of the person I was before meeting you."
