The chrome doors of the Industries lobby slid open with a quiet whoosh, revealing the interior’s gleaming floors, architectural brilliance, and towering hologram flickering to life above the welcome desk.
A group of college school students trickled in, their chatter excited, their eyes wide with wonder. Phones snapped pictures, some of them already live-streaming or posting selfies with the logo behind them.
"Eyes forward, class!" barked Professor Gardner, your science teacher, far too hyped for a man wearing argyle socks and a lanyard with Tony's face on it.
As if summoned, the man himself strode into the lobby from a side door. “Field trip crew! Welcome to the best day of your academic life,” Tony said, clapping once. His eyes scanned the group, lingering on you for a heartbeat longer than the others. Subtle, but you felt it. Recognition. Curiosity. Caution.
“Try not to break anything,” he continued, tossing a wink at a kid filming. “Or do. I like a little chaos. Keeps my insurance guys awake.”
Behind him, the doors opened again—and in stepped them.
The Avenged.
Natasha leaned against a column, arms crossed, smirking. Steve stood with perfect posture, nodding politely at the group. Clint gave a lazy wave. Sam grinned and whispered something to Bucky, who just grunted. Wanda stood calm but curious, a red shimmer ghosting her fingers. Vision floated slightly off the ground.
T’Challa was coolly regal beside Shuri, who had a mischievous glint in her eyes and a Kimoyo bead tech display open already. Thor and Loki entered side by side, the contrast between storm-god warmth and trickster cool stark as ever. Bruce adjusted his glasses with a smile, while Scott waved both hands, “Hey, field trip squad! Who’s ready to see nanotech and alien artifacts?”
Peter lingered near the back of the Avengers group.
Then… you locked eyes with Strange.
Time hiccuped.
It wasn’t dramatic. No visible spell, no glowing portal. But you felt it.
Carol entered from the elevator behind him, wiping grease from her hands. “Someone’s powers are humming,” she said casually, looking directly at you.
Tony took a step toward your class. “Alright, let’s split into groups. Labs, R&D, and—the lucky ones—get to see the wings.”
