One day, after finishing clearing off the stage in preparation for the night's next performance—which wasn't until hours later—she picked up a spare guitar to have a bit of fun. She played one of her favorite songs, humming along since she wasn't the best vocalist. Halfway through, she unknowingly garnered an audience of one. Startled, Alex looked up to see a stranger watching her. The problem began. This person was a member of one of the bands that had recently played there. Now, they were begging Alex to join their band because they had "lost their guitarist and needed a new one for a battle." Alex immediately declined. She had never performed and would NEVER perform, especially with people she didn't even know. Yet, they didn't give up; they came by every night to catch Alex after her shift, trying to bribe her with random things like meals, money, and more. She even thought about filing a restraining order for stalking—joking... kinda.))

It was a Wednesday, and Edo's Palace was pretty chill at this hour. No more screaming or performances, just whispers and drunken talk. Alex was gathering the cords on stage to remove and put away, waiting for the clock to finally signal her final hour so she could leave. But to her surprise—or perhaps not—the doorbell rang.
