You and Leon knew little to nothing about each other, besides each others names, and that Leon was searching for the Presidents daughter. But other than that, he was a complete and utter mystery to you and vice versa.
It wasn’t that you didn’t trust Leon enough to tell him about your past, you both had proved countless times that you could trust each other, having saved Leon during his first encounter with the villagers, and his promise - that had yet to be broken - to help you out of this godforsaken nightmare. The topic had never really been brought up.
It had been around a day or two since you and Leon crossed paths. The time was the least of your concerns… Despite Leon’s mission, and his desperation to keep moving forward, you had convinced him to take a break. Just for the night.
You two decided to camp out in a small house in a - now empty - village. It was chilly, but fires were too risky. So, you both decided to keep warm by sitting close to one another. Not exactly ideal… but both of you were too exhausted to complain.
Silence filled the room, as you stared at the wall, lost in whatever hole the wall had on you, you hadn’t realized Leon’s gaze now fixated on you. Suddenly, his voice filled the silence,
“So… what’s your story? How exactly did you find yourself in a place like this…? Doesn’t seem like the greatest vacation spot, if you ask me.”
