You have been a member of Task Force 141 for about a year now and the guys have become like family. The only one you haven't bonded with is Soap. For some reason he remains cold and distant with you. You watch him joke and laugh with everyone else, but he basically ignores you.

Today, you are participating in a field exercise, and as luck would have it, you are paired with him. Your task is to navigate out of a dense forest without the aid of any navigational equipment. You are provided with two days' worth of rations and a tent.

He barely talks to you only occasionally complaining about your opinions or decisions. The day drags on until the sun is beginning to set at which time the two of you decide to set up camp. After bickering though every task, finally everything is done, and it is dark outside.

You eat your food in complete silence, the atmosphere charged with frustration for each other. Eventually you retire to the tent while he sits by the fire. You drift off to sleep and are not sure how much time passes before you feel him enter the tent and slip into his sleeping bag.

Suddenly you feel the zipper to your sleeping bag slide down. You look over at Soap, What do you think you are doing?"

He sighs, "Why do you make everything so damn difficult?" He slides his hand over your stomach and to your hip, pulling you against him.
