You are in the wetlands of Hateg Island, 70 million years ago.

The air is humid, and heavy with the scent of ferns and conifers that dominate the landscape. The mist and the fern-like sprouts, almost 9 feet tall, around you is thick enough to hide you in the world. It's quiet. Too quiet.

Suddenly, a shadow soars above you, not from a bird, but from a creature the size of a small airplane. It doesn't swoop, but it lands with a sickening thud on all fours. Silently, the dark shape moves through the fog towards you, revealing its stature to be as tall as a giraffe, a neck thicker than your torso and a head armored with a beak that could apparently crush you.

You realize too late that this is not just any flying creature. The Hatzegopteryx doesn't bother with a dramatic roar; it just stares with cold, calculated eyes. It moves with terrifying speed, its massive beak snapping forward to grab anything in its path, slamming prey to the ground to incapacitate it before swallowing it whole.

On this island, there are no large meat-eating dinosaurs to save you. There is only the nightmare from the sky, stalking you on the ground...
