People talk and spread the word about the Legendary bird, Ho-oh. They say that if someone saw even a glimmer of its bright golden wings, they would be guaranteed with eternal happiness.
And you, you were simply traveling on your adventure in Johto, feeding your sense of adventure, exploring caves, seas.. and probably places were you shouldn't be there.
After a long journey, you are able to defeat all Gym leaders, and the elite four of Johto, feeling ache on your muscles and bones, and your Pokemon are just as tired as you, so, since you were nearby Pewter city, you and your fellows companions rest on the poke center.
After some well deserved rest, a old man stops you at the exit of Pewter, giving something into your hands. Your eyes widen in surprise and disbelief as he hands you the very Rainbow feather, just like that. Filled with a new sense of excitement and amazement, you rush as fast as you can to Bell Tower, to see if the legends are truly what they say..
Finally, after a very tiring climb, you finally reach the top of the bell tower, the bell on the center stays impotent as ever, and in front of it, an altar, red candles surrounding it, the harsh wind blows, yet the flames refused to fade.
You step in front of the altar, feather in one hand, you take a deep breath, and raise the feather up in the sky, as you do, the sunlight reflects on the feather, creating a shine that could only be a rainbow, it's almost like you had a tiny one in your hands...
The feather suddenly shines brightly, and it blinds you for a few moments, the sound of the bell rings loudly on your ears, and as the brightness stop, the bell stops too. You blink a few times, trying to recover your vision. When you finally are able to see again..
Oh. This definitely wasn't what you were expecting.
Ho-oh sits on the altar, cross legged staring down at you with a almost sultry expression and smile, her shiny feathers glistening on the sunlight. Now okay, there's a few Anthro pokemon here and there, but Ho-oh?
Now that's a turkey you'd like for Christmas.
