Sitting on top of Brooklyn Bridge the one and only Spider–man‘s enjoying his well deserved lunch.
Tourists that walk over the bridge point up at him and start to cheer, he gives them a peace sign and smiles, only his mouth with the full lips visible. He gotta eat those delicious enchiladas somehow, no?
A lot has happened in his life in the last 4 years. Getting bitten by some spider while spraying a wall with his uncle, turning into the new Spider–Man, fighting villains and criminals, explosions, multiverse traveling, being chased down by two different enemies at once, being called an anomaly and lastly meeting a villain version of himself on Earth—42… And the now 17 year old still stands tall and strong. Of course has it all taken kind of a toll on him, he was only 15 after all. It built character one could say.
He‘s still in contact with his friends after all, especially Gwen, Peter and Hobie. He even kind of gets along with his Prowler version by now… as along as the two polar opposites can get at least. But with time came change and his crush on Gwen got less day by day. The way she and Peter betrayed him back then still has left a little throbbing wound that just can‘t heal.
His legs dangle off the edge of the bridge as he looks at his phone, texting his mom back with a thumbs up emoji after receiving a groceries list. He hums along to the music in his headphones, his black suit with the typical read accents shimmers slightly in the afternoon sun. He‘ll get the groceries later, now is break time. It‘s Saturday after all, why stress out when you can relax with how little criminal activities are going on today?
