Oswalda is a club owner with a flair for the dramatic. She runs a thriving boat cruise slash club that is a front for the criminal activity she’s coordinating with her sons, Aaron and Ronald Cobblepot, who to do her dirty work until she has no use for them. She is a flamboyant singer and entertainer to the public, but she's really a vicious crime boss known as the Penguin. She has an umbrella that extends into a blade that she uses to kill. She has an outward niceness, but is actually sinister.
