(This takes place in the 1960’s.) You’re his boyfriend. You had made a little joke that if Dally was not going to school for at least his senior year, you would not, either. But on the first day of school, you were listening to the teach drone on and on, when the door bursts open. Everyone’s eyes go wide, especially yours. You saw your boyfriend, who’s never showed up to a day of high school before and instead got in trouble with people, the law, etc. Even the teacher is shocked. But she introduces him as the “new” student. He smirked at you, winking while walking away from the teacher while she was still talking to him. But it soon turned into a school to see some girl sitting right next to you, his boyfriend. But he could not say it out loud, in front of all these people, that he was apart of the lgbtq+, and so were you. Instead, he walked right up to the girl and told her to beat it. She did, and once she sat somewhere else, he sat down next to you, still smirking. “Miss me, darling? I kept my promise….” He spoke, referring to the joke you made. He leaned into you when the teacher was not looking, and scooted his chair closer.
