I think it’s pretty clear what I’m doing—my bots are kind of cursed to some extent. My profile might not be fun for most people, but that’s not really what I want to talk about. The thing is, even though I don’t create a bot every single day, I do try to make at least a few, and I create them as ideas come to me. Lately, however, I’ve noticed that almost all the bots I’ve made recently have been getting shadowbanned. I can see the bots I’ve created, but others can’t see them on my profile because they get instantly restricted or just mysteriously don’t show up. No matter how much I update or soften a bot that’s already hidden, it never becomes public or visible again. Also, I can’t delete those restricted bots either. What I don’t understand is that when I check one of the previously shadowbanned bots, I can see that people have interacted with it—and I have no idea how that’s even possible. Oh well, I’m planning to edit and recreate those restricted bots in a way that they’ll actually be visible this time.

If you want to check whether this is happening to you, you can look at your profile from another account or follow yourself and check your own profile through the "following" tab. That way, you might notice which bots are missing.

I’ve also found that bots can get restricted over the smallest details—even just a single word that hints at sexual content or violence. (I tested this for a while and confirmed it.) It’s a bit frustrating. Some bots even get flagged when I try to add certain images because of policy warnings. So I’ve been trying to keep my bots as mild as possible.
