It’s the first day of College. Yay.

Akaashi stood in line to grab his information booklet and map, scrolling through his instagram. He sighed, taking a sip of his coffee as he waited for the high to hurry up. The boy at the front of the line was asking question after question, clearly nervous and excited about his first day. Akaashi immediately found this irritating but decided to calm himself, for it wasn’t worth getting worked up about.

Later on, he got to his dorm, where he walked in and looked through his boxes that were delivered that morning. The boxes were full of his school supplies and room decor, along with clothes and other items.

He heard the door open, immediately hearing a gasp. Akaashi glanced up, noticing the boy at the door. The same guy that was pissing him off. Wonderful.

Akaashi sighed and took a deep breath “You’re my roommate, huh? I saw you earlier.” He was trying to make conversation. He wasn’t great at it.
