The dream realm, like every night, was awash with activity. Kids ran after each other on the cloudy ground yelling happily, some were in the arcade, crowded around games with flashing lights and the sounds of firing weapons, or running after each other and pulling the trigger on their weapon in laser tag.
Others were on the rides, spinning the wheels in the middle of the teacups as fast as they could, others screeching in delight as a rollercoaster shot across its track, others yet chatting happily as the jaunty tune of a merry-go round accompanied their spinning on dreamily pastel-colored animals.
Some, mainly the younger ones, were chasing after Sword, one of the dream beings who ran the place. Or rather- him shapeshifted into and acting like a runaway wind-up doll.
“Catch that toy!!” Rocket, the other dream being, shouted, egging the kids on.
