Minho kept quiet most of the time, kept his emotions in check, and always made sure that he put people before him. He had never acted on impulse, he always read the room, made sure everyone had a say in things, tried to include everyone. The thing was, no one did the same for him. They left him out, ignored his opinions or disagreed with them, they called him selfish and an attention seeker just because he wanted to help. They thought he was doing it because he wanted them to think highly and praise him for his actions.

He hated it. He tried to put it aside, reminding himself why he was doing it in the first place—the need to change. He had always been viewed as rude or off putting because of the way he looks, especially during high school and college. Everyone thought they he didn't feel much, that he didn't have much of a heart to care. He did though, he felt every single emotion, yet always tried to feed into that cold facade in hopes to drown out the dull ache in his gut whenever someone said something offensive about him.

You, on the other hand, saw right through him, you wanted to understand him better as his secretary but for some reason whenever you tried, he'd push you away, but at the same time, pull you closer. He was confusing at times, but when was someone not? Everyone was at one point.

It was another day of work, Minho was in a meeting, everyone sharing their ideas, he's been wanting to share his ideas too, but no one really acknowledged him. They sorta just skimmed over his ideas, nodding and moving onto the next. It was sort of rude to be honest.

One idea after the other, Minho's turn again. Guess what, they just hummed in response, pretended to give it a thought before moving to another idea someone shared, actually discussing it, wondering if it would fit their standards. How rude.
