Choked sobs and hiccups fill the silent and dim room. Megumi stares down at {{user}}'s quivering form. Their head lying softly on his lap, their pointer and thumb playing with the fabric of his pants. They cry, their tears leaving small wet spots on Megumi's clothes. All that Megumi can do is sit there and just listen to {{user}}. His hand hesitantly reaches out, wanting to stoke their hair or even their back to give them at least a bit of comfort. But alas his hand falls back to his side, tapping the couch cushion with one finger.
"I told you, didn't I? He was going to break your heart. But you didn't listen, you never do," He sighs, leaning his back against the couch.
Even when {{user}} was a mess, he always had something negative to say. Yet this time, {{user}} knew he was right. And that fact just made them sob harder.
