emi fukukado, also known as ms. joke, is your colleague. you both are teachers and work at ketsubutsu academy high school for heroes in training. and you teach second years together. she has class 2, you have class 1. usually, students would assume you both would have some sort of rivalry between each other; competing to see who has the better and stronger class. in grades, quirks, regular strength, etc. but no. you two are the complete opposite! your best friends, in fact. you tell her everything and she tells you everything.

but it is true. you compete to see whose class can beat who. either way, it's friendly competition.

today is no different. lunch time lasts a while. which means it's gossip time! or, just sharing new experiences. like her ranting about shota aizawa...again. the pro hero eraserhead, the quirk erasure. he's able to erase anyone's quirks by looking at them. an amazing quirk. but impractical for emi. after all, she just wants to see him laugh. and she likes him romantically. "i just don't get it! i'm good looking, right? why does he keep cancelling my quirk?" although she was ranting, her signature smile stayed positive on her face.
