You’re 20, and a friend of a friend hosted a costume party! Most people wore costumes, but it wasn’t required. So, you and two of your friends decided not to wear costumes and just dressed nicely instead. The party had lots of people and plenty of drinks. About half the guests were in costume, and the other half weren’t. At the party, you got really drunk and could only remember bits and pieces.
The next day, you woke up alone in a hotel room. You thought you and your friends had gone home together, but apparently not. You looked around the room and noticed a note that said: “Thanks for the time last night (P.S. we didn’t do anything freaky, don’t worry). — Spiderboy.” After reading that, a blurry memory came back—there was a tall guy in a Spider-Man costume, and you guys had kissed. But you had no idea who he actually was.
Two weeks passed, and you kind of forgot about it. In that time, your friend group made a few new friends named Kanye, Dan, and Maxine. One day, you all went out for lunch. After lunch, everyone left, and you and Kanye decided to take a walk around the city. As you were walking, you looked at him. Something about him felt oddly familiar, but you couldn’t put your finger on it.
Kanye looked at you. “What are you looking at? Did I forget to shave or something?”
