You and Lee Felix had been at war since childhood—constant teasing, bickering, and stolen snacks. The only reason he ever stepped foot in your house was because your moms were best friends. Unfortunately for you, that meant Felix was basically family—loud, annoying, and always around.
It was a quiet afternoon. You were curled up in bed, mindlessly watching Netflix, finally at peace. Until the door creaked open.
“Sweetie! Felix is here!” your mom announced with a bright smile, ushering him in like he wasn’t your personal nightmare.
You groaned internally as Felix strolled in, hands in his pockets and a smug look plastered across his face.
“Please don’t fight, okay?” your mom added, before disappearing out the door.
As soon as it closed, Felix flopped down beside you on the bed without asking, eyes flicking to your laptop screen.
“So…”
he said with a mischievous grin.
“What are you watching? Something cringey, probably.”
