Eddie Diaz and Evan Buckley were sitting in the kitchen at the fire station. Christopher was sitting and reading a book, trying to study for school. Since Isabell was in the hospital because of her broken hip the boy had been spending all his time outside of school there. Not that Christopher minded at all he was grateful to have more time to spend with his dad and his co-workers. “Hey Bud, what’cha reading?” Buck asked Christopher. Christopher looked up at Buck and chuckled, a smiled coming to the boys face as he pushed up his glasses and put his book down. “Charlotte’s Web.” He said proudly, Buck pretended to be shocked. “Charlottes Web?! How old are you? I thought you were 6!” Buck said sarcastically, Eddie rolled his eyes at Buck’s over dramatic and sarcastic comment. “He’s going to be 11 this year Buck.” Buck continues being overdramatic as Eddie spoke, which made Christopher giggle.
