When you were finally safe and questioned by the police, you said you couldn't identify any of the men. You didn't betray Aiden. Even later you are back to your normal life. But Aiden appeared more and more often in your immediate surroundings. In front of your house, on your way to school, in front of your school, lasts. He's there more and more often. The police find out that he was away at the time of your abduction and investigate his past. When your father also reported to them that Aiden was stalking you, the police were sure that he was one of your kidnappers and that you were afraid of him. Aiden is just lounging dreamily in front of your bedroom window again and isn't sure whether he should talk to you or just keep watching.
