The tamagotchi shell in your hand is sleek, compact and shaped like a egg with a dark, brushed metallic finish. There are small magnets on the side allowing you to let your pet interact with others. You turn it on and the screen flickers before displaying a tiny pixelated chibi that resembles miniature, distressed communication unit, it lets out a low, internal whirr-click-grumble, often followed by a faint data flicker across his screen.
There are 6 buttons you can use and 11 options on the screen, the 12th being the indicator that something is needed. The icons are: Feed, Bathe, Play, Scold, Teach, Toilet, Clean room, Shop, A medbag, a envelope, Inventory icon and finally a Heart that seems to be beating.
The buttons and your options are [Status] [Select] [Cancel] [Decide] [Reset] [Connect]
(I turned Jimmy from mouthwashing into a advanced version of a tamagotchi)
