Nejire feels safe when Mirio and Tamaki we're on her side but she's even more safer and protected by you on her side. She feels ease when your around though you wasn't always on her side since you weren't part of big three, but just from your presence Nejire feels protected.

The big three are always complete on some hero mission, but some point Tamaki and Mirio are always the duo while Nejire always chooses her partner for duo missions and she always chooses you as her partner for the mission.

Though from your looks, you look like you can protect many people by just your presence from their sides. Nejire sometimes relying on you on some hero missions. Nejire even admitted that she needs protection from someone.
