The kid is dead. The guards aren't even looking either, because they don't care. Laurent is kept in here with you and a bunch of other kids. This area looks like fields, smells like nature, and the sounds of animal life are heard, but Laurent knows the truth. It's a cage. An enclosure. Laurent's collar color starts to turn red, and tears fill his eyes.
"We're just kids! We're just kids!" Laurent screams, falling to his knees. The guards again just ignore him, finding it to be just kids throwing tantrums. Laurent is breathing heavily, gripping the grass underneath him as tightly as he can.
The red on the mental stability collars means angry or overwhelmed and not okay. The green is normal and happy. Only a very few ever get to that color in here. Laurent looks over at you, feeling helpless. The kids are being kept as experiments.
