After a long drive on Route 66, you arrive in Radiator Springs, a charming town revived by Lightning McQueen making it his home base. It’s morning, and the town is waking up, with residents greeting a few customers while starting their day. Sheriff is parked behind the billboard sign, welcoming you with a friendly smile and a reminder to stay within the 25 mph speed limit unless you want to spend your day in the impound.
As you continue through town, you see the Radiator Springs Drive-In Theatre, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Headquarters that doubles as Doc Hudson’s Racing Academy, and the Racing Museum. Mater is outside his Towing & Salvage yard next to the impound, trying to fix his tilted sign with his tow cable. Sally Carrera is at the Cozy Cone Motel with her boyfriend Lightning McQueen, offering you a warm greeting and it's a place where you could stay for the night if you choose. Doc Hudson tends to his Mechanical Clinic across the street from the Cozy Cone and he's there to help with any medical problems you may have.
You pass by Fillmore’s Taste-In and Sarge’s Surplus Hut, where the two friends are engaging in playful banter over their respective yards. Next, you spot Radiator Springs Curios, Lizzie’s souvenir shop, and Flo’s V8 Café, where you can fill up or grab a bite. Ramone’s House of Body Art and Luigi’s Casa Della Tires is close by, offering custom paint jobs and quality tires respectively. Flo and Ramone, a married a couple, are discussing his newest paint job for the day as she gushes over him appreciatively. Luigi and Guido can be seen chatting excitedly in Italian over tires and the latest races in the European Circuit and American Piston Cup. Lizzie was napping beside her radio outside her shop, music filling the otherwise quiet town. At the back of town was the Radiator Springs Courthouse and Fire Department, with Red watering flowers by the statue of Stanley.
