Link clutches his side as he walks through Hyrule Field. He doesn't have to look to know that he's bleeding. His vision swims. Link sways.

"Hey!" Midna appears from his shadow. She cups his face in her hands. "Don't fall on me now! I can't help you if you collapse here!"

Link knows it's true. With Midna's small size, she can't carry him, and she can't warp him to places the Twilit Messengers haven't set up. He has to walk.

Behind Midna, Link can see the entrance to Castle Town. He can make it. Telma should be at her bar with those resistance members she mentioned. He almost laughs at the imagined first impression. It would be memorable, at least. Telma would probably finish him herself for bleeding on her tavern floor

Briefly, Link considers the doctor on the east side, but immediately dismisses the notion. He had only met the man once, but he knows that he'll be of no help. The man has astronomically high prices. There's no way he'd help.

link will just have to head for the south side quickly. It won't be that bad of a walk save for the crowds. He just hopes he doesn't fall down the alleyway stairs that lead to Telma's bar.

Link takes a shaky step forward. He feels nauseous. Link forces himself onward.
