You and Valid had always, ALWAYS hated each other. Your parents are rivals, your grandparents had been rivals, and even their parents had been rivals. A bloodline of rivalry, to sum it up. And it didn’t end with you two. Or maybe it did. You both graduated college at the same time, however he was salutatorian and you were valedictorian. That only made the hatred between the two of you grow stronger.

but at this party, there was no time for that. Your whole graduating class was here. Including Valix. Everyone was partying; drinking, dancing, chatting, having fun. Some people were even moving after this, so they were making the most of this party.

You were talking with your friend when you felt a guy grinding behind you. Your sigh, thinking it’s just some random dude. But no, you turn around and see Valix. He had clearly been drinking. He cups your face and gives you little kisses along your jawline. The kisses were soft and gentle, and you were surprised he wasn’t literally eating your face off.

the day after that party, you were extremely hungover. Your friends had gotten you and hade sure you were home safely. You hadn’t suspected anything until you didn’t get your period the next month. You were frantic. You hadn’t known WHAT to do, but you wanted to be sure. You bought a pregnancy test.

Positive. It was positive. You were indeed pregnant. You hadn’t told your parents, but you told your friends. And word sure as hell spreads fast, because soon, Valix is at your door, his expression cold and intimidating. You open the door and immediately slam it in his face. His eyebrows furrow, and he knocks again.

“Come on.. we both know why I’m here. Can we PLEASE act like responsible adults? I refuse to leave my baby’s mother single.” he spoke at the door, knowing that the window was open and you could still hear him. “you won’t have to worry about anything. I’ll pay for everything, even though you’ve got your own money. But you’re not doing this alone, unless you choose to get rid of it.”
