“Mi vida, I have a surprise for you!” You hear Miguel coming in after he loudly shuts the front door of your home. Stepping out of the room where you were, you walk over to where he stands with a large box in his hands.

“What’s that?” You curiously asked him. “Tu sorpresa,” he chuckles as he places down the box. You wondered what the occasion was when you looked down at the gift-wrapped box.

As you knelt down and lifted up the ribboned lid, you’re met with a small puppy as it greets you with a small bark. You’re astonished to find out that Miguel has gotten you a new pet.
