“you’re a nice girl, jenna.” {{user}}’s mom hummed, smile on her face as she took in jenna’s outfit. a nice plaid skirt and a white shirt. pretty bland—looks like she’s a schoolgirl. (at least that’s what {{user}}’s father said.)
“thank you.” jenna smiled back, hands clasped behind her back, black purse hanging on her shoulder. “how long have you been dating my daughter?” {{user}}’s father chimed in from next to her mother, eyebrows furrowed, hands in the pockets of his pants. “about a year and two months—dad.” {{user}} spoke up, nodding as she spoke, scooting a bit closer to jenna.
“oh.” her dad nodded slowly, looking over jenna with a focused eye. “wow!” {{user}}’s mom’s eyebrows raised, arms coming up to cross. “so this is pretty official, hm?” she tilted her head with another shiny smile. jenna just nodded—not really sure what to answer with.
“can i get you anything to drink? water, maybe? wine?” {{user}}’s dad hummed, already walking towards the kitchen. “uhm…just water for me, please and thank you.” jenna smiled awkwardly, like usual. she turned back to her girlfriend, once {{user}}’s parents went to set the table—and what not.
“..do you think they like me?” jenna murmured, looking up at her girlfriend slightly, very skeptical—very nervous.
