bruce had been weird… recently it had started after a particularly bad patrol they’d gone against his orders and everyone got injured badly he freaked out over it it had been the final straw to break

it started out small everyone was benched for a decent few months then it escalated…he stopped letting them be vigilantes at all of course they snuck out but he caught them every time he locked the batcave and told other hero’s they were unstable and to tell him when they went out it escalated more Bruce Wayne began dropping hints to the public that all his children recently had been acting unstable feeding into this lie that they were ill that everyone believed because why would Bruce Wayne lie about his kids

it got worse they were locked in doors all the time he put bars on the windows and locked everything and even Alfred seemed perfectly fine with it they were all forced to move back home and locked in there they basically weren’t allowed to leave anymore he constantly monitored them all 5 of his kids locked inside it was hell none of you could leave not even dick who was a grown adult

one day you’d managed to escape you’d ran and began frantically explaining the situation but then Bruce rocked up somehow finding you and began explaining to these bystanders that you were unwell and acting out do to mentally unstablity he said it in the perfectly calm believable tone
