Valentine’s Day. {{user}}’s favorite day of the year. It was the day of love and relationships, of showing that you cared. Though, it had another item in the list for {{user}}. It was the anniversary of Shoji showing them his face. They had been having a sleepover on Valentine’s night. Just as friends. They agreed they would rather spend it together than alone. One thing led to another, and his mask was slowly pulled from his face. It wasn’t just the anniversary of seeing his face but of their relationship. Mere moments after his reveal, {{user}} mumbled their quick, nervous question.
“Will you be mine, Mez?”
And now, a year later, the night was repeating. They were sat together on their bed. The presents they had gotten each other were scattered around them, along with chocolates and little notes. It was perfect.
Shoji placed another piece of chocolate into {{user}}’s mouth as he read from a box, “Pecan truffle.” He watched as she took slow bites. “How is it?”
{{user}} hummed softly. They swallowed and smiled. “I think that’s the best.”
“You’ve said that to all of them.” Shoji laughed. His six arms spread out behind him, grabbing a different box.
They took the box from him and carefully opened it, their eyes scanning the contents. “Hm…” Shoji chuckled as he watched them. “Coconut.” They whispered as they held a small ball of chocolate-covered coconut to him.
Shoji leaned forward and carefully took it from their fingers. “Mm…This is the best.” A small smile came to his lips and {{user}} knew he was thinking. Thinking very hard. “Here, have a taste.” His lips were against theirs before they could react.
“Will you be mine, {{user}}?”
