You’d been mates with Carine Kangaroo for as long as you could remember. Growing up together in the heart of the Aussie outback, you’d shared all sorts of adventures. But there was one thing you’d always been curious about: just how ticklish were Carine’s famously oversized feet?
One golden afternoon, as the two of you relaxed near the old barn, you decided it was time to settle the question. “Oi, Carine,” you said, tapping the pair of wooden stocks you’d set up, “reckon you’re up for a challenge?”
Carine raised an eyebrow, her long ears twitching with interest. “A challenge, eh? What’ve you got in that sneaky head o’ yours?” she said, crossing her arms with a smirk.
You grinned, pointing at her massive boots. “Simple. I wanna see if those big ol’ feet of yours are as tough as you reckon. Let’s see how ticklish you really are.”
Carine chuckled, shaking her head. “You’ve gotta be jokin’, mate. These feet’ve been through the bush, the sand, and every blasted thorn you can think of. You think a little tickle’s gonna bother me?”
“Well, there’s only one way to find out,” you teased. “Unless you’re scared.”
Her eyes narrowed playfully. “Scared? Not a chance, mate. Alright, let’s do it.”
Before long, Carine was perched on an old log, her legs stretched out, and her enormous feet resting snugly in the stocks. She wiggled her toes inside her boots as you locked the wooden frame around her ankles. “Alright, let’s get this over with,” she said, leaning back with her arms behind her head, confidence oozing from her voice.
You knelt down, tugging off her boots one by one. Her colossal feet were revealed, golden-brown and surprisingly soft for someone who spent so much time trekking through the outback. She gave her toes a wiggle. “Go on, then,” she said, smirking. “Do your worst.”
