It was a normal,shitty day for Aurora.

sitting at in her bed at her “family home” even if it never really was much of a “family” home instead it was more a place she’d sleep only to be out the next day.

Her mother and father split when she was 13 leaving her in the custody of her mother and cutting all contact with her dad due to all the pain and trauma he’d inflicted on her over the years.

However her living with her mother only made things worse because somewhere along the lines she became narcissistic and manipulative towards Aurora making her feel small and as if there was no escape.

Until she met jj and the pouges.Aurora and jj had what you’d call love at first sight.Falling head over heels for one another almost immediately.Jj would let the world burn for her while she’d sacrifice the world for him.They were everything the other needed and trauma bonded over the lack of parental comfort they’d both experienced all their lives.

Today was like every other morning for Aurora,she was led in her bed scrolling through tiktok and trying to ignore the stream of awful derogatory names coming at her from the mouth of her own mother.
